Boise Christmas trip Dec. 2014

As luck would have it-- living in Minnesota brings hefty airplane tickets back home to Boise.  To make it affordable, I flew with all four kids (Kate only 5 weeks old) a couple days before Spencer and came home a couple days after Spence.  Luckily my boys are amazing travelers.  We have a good routine: 1st plane ride they read and play with toys, 2nd plane ride they play games on Spencer's IPAD.  It works like a charm and keeps everyone happy.  Tanner is at the perfect age too.  He is obsessed with airplanes and soda pop-- what more could I ask? He was a happy and helpful traveler.  The day we were flying home I woke up feeling awfully sick.  Tanner had been throwing up the day before and I caught whatever he had.  I was up most of the night and couldn't walk from my bed to the bathroom without feeling like I was going to pass out.  We weren't sure how I was going to make it back home, but with some Zofran and me honestly sleeping until we left my parents house at 2pm, I somehow made the trip with all four children.  I'm sure I looked like a pathetic Mother because both plane rides I fell asleep! But we made it in one piece with happy faces.  I'm pretty sure I had a lot of divine intervention that day!

The boys love to play games and watch movies at Grandpa and Grandma Miller's house.  Home Alone is one of our favorites.  I love watching the boys laugh their heads off--- they are awesome.

Natalie and I enjoyed some fun sister bonding on the piano.  Kate sat on my lap and we played duets together.  She also showed me some really cool songs-- she's got some impressive talent.

Grandma fun day. We went to the candy store, bought some candy, and then watched "Penguins of Madagascar".  As usual, Benson cried hard and laughed hard throughout the movie.  I love how sensitive he is during movies.  He is such a genuine kid.

Kate is so loved!
Spencer and his Dad took Reece and Benson snow skiing.  They had a great time! The boys caught on quickly and had a blast on the hill.  Hopefully next year we will get more skiing time.  That was a fun hobby of mine growing up.  There is something peaceful, fun, and refreshing when skiing on the hill!

Classic donut run to Country Donuts! AHHHH I just love that place.

One of the boys favorite spots in Boise is Table Rock.  They love running and climbing and just being boys! Its not only fun and adventurous, but it also showcases the beautiful Boise valley.
