The day was perfect. We started out in Kristi and Rich's church attending Buck's blessing. It was a beautiful blessing, we were glad we were able to attend. After his blessing we all went back to Grandma Dunkley's home and started making preparations for our dinner with the family. Once everyone was there and the dinner was ready we gathered together and gave Kate her blessing. I can't remember the exact words that were said, but I do remember it being a beautiful blessing. She looked beautiful, both inside and out, and I felt like I was the luckiest mom in the world. There were a lot of family members there, but I mostly remember just being in love with this precious angel that was sent into our family. Ever since the day she was born, she has had a special and angelic spirit about her. She's a very peaceful and happy baby.
After the blessing we had a big dinner with the family. It was perfect and I was glad we were able to be surrounded by so much family and loved ones. It was a wonderful day!
