Dunkley family reunion-Aug.7th

My mom hosted a killer Dunkley Reunion. She is the QUEEN at throwing parties. We had 60+ family members attend. It is always fun to get together with all the cousins and their spouses. We have a pretty fun group of cousins with a whole bundle of little kiddos. Here are some pics from the party. BEWARE: PICTURE OVERLOAD for journal purposes (the pics are in the wrong order...opps).
Reece with his "fishing pool and fish" balloon. The balloon man was a HUGE hit for the little kids. I'm pretty sure Reece spent an hour watching him.
Spencer driving the train.

Dad cutting the prime rib. We ate the most Delicious food. Cousin Krystle made a Dunkley Jeopardy game that was all about my grandparents. It was super fun and the whole family played! Nicole is the horse expert. She guided everyone on her horse. We played paintball in the field and this was the target shooting area. And what's a good reunion without some volleyball! Craft table. We tied balloons onto flip-flops. They turned out super cute. We had 2 inflatables; a jump house and an obstacle course. Everyone at Dunkely Music thinks I look just like my Dad, but this picture proves otherwise. Reece LOVES his Aunt Kristi. Notice his bag of cotton candy--it was his 2nd. I love this picture because the background is so active. It just looks like a fun party! Dad and Reece Reece doing a back flip on the trampoline. Spencer figured out how to do a double back flip. The LOVE of every little boy....race cares. He was in a different world.

The pavement was really hot so he is wearing my flip-flops!! So cute.

Aunt Jamie and Benson were little buddies in the pool.

Reece got a little over-zealous and started jumping from one side of the pool and then swimming to the other. In the process he cut his lip on the steps that go into the pool. He said in a half-crying half-whining voice, "please just hold me." I obeyed happily!

This was absolutely HILARIOUS. I'm pretty sure the whole Dunkley family was laughing. Spencer and Cousin Ben were showing off their abilities to dive through these tiny tubes. During one of Spencer's dives he got stuck and popped the floaty. We laughed until we cried!

This is me riding Nicole's horse. My parents have had horses in their backyard for over 5 years and this was the first time I ever rode one. It was surprisingly fun.

Grandma and Grandpa Dunkley. They are so good looking and totally awesome!

Reece could hardly wait to get to the reunion so he could eat ALL of Grandmas Popsicles. We were happy to see him put some calories on his little bones.

My dad trying to do a back flip.

After family pictures everyone came inside to get their water bottles and t-shirts.

We tried to take family pictures and this is what we got.

Waterskiing...the love of my life!

Ok, so Spencer is my true love...but as far as activities go water skiing is definitely at the top of my list. My sister Kristi is super rad and took me water skiing twice. We first went at 6AM so I could be home before my family woke up, and then the second time was after she taught swim lessons all day. She is way too nice to me. Here are some fun pics from our 2nd trip.
Natalie and Reece with their "cool" sun glasses driving the boat
Nicole, me, and Benson.
My form is bad but you can't beat the sound and feel of cutting through nice water at night!
Kristi!!
Cousin Heather and Nicole

We had a classic conversation shortly after this pic was taken.
Me: Reece, do you want to be a waterskiier when you grow up?
Reece: No, I want to be a paleontologist.
Awesome! Sure love this kid. Benson and Natty with a beautiful background
