this is for Clarissa and Candice

This post is for Clarissa and Candice so they'll stop talking SMACK behind my back!!! hahaha. Just kidding. But look who has the freshest blog update now? :)

Anyway--here's an update on the past couple weeks:

Benson has the best nursery leader EVER! She used to be a preschool teacher and so she has some seriously AWESOME skills. She gave them this giant sunflower seed and look how big it's grown in just 1 1/2 weeks....the boys think it's magical.
Benson started starfall.com. He's learning the sounds of the alphabet letters and really enjoys it. We call it his "homework" and so whenever Reece is doing his homework Benson runs around saying, "I want to do my homework". It works like a charm!

Benson has also starting talking like Darth Vader. Whenever someone asks him a question, he responds in his new voice. It's comical. He also loves to be outside. He rides his bike like a crazy man and when he falls over he just gets up and keeps on going. That's classic Benson--tough and adventurous. OH, and did I mention the new 3 year old attitude?? Oh dear, it's a beauty.
This is Reece before his school pictures. He loves school and especially loves his teacher (Miss Michelle-my cousin) and Miss Nana (my Aunt Sylvia who sometimes helps out).
Reece has a music class (Let's play music) every Tuesday and it just so happened that the class is full of boys. So you can imagine how crazy it can be. Reece has struggled with the other boys in sitting still and not acting like a bunch of monkeys--until I thought of a BRILLIANT idea--if he's good in class and obeys everything the teacher asks him to do then he gets to go to the library and pick out as many books as he can carry. I started this brilliant plan over a month ago and he has been perfect ever since. Why did it take me so long to come up with that plan??? Motherhood is challenging.Reece has said the most HILARIOUS things while going potty during the night (he's half asleep during these conversations). Here are some of the latest:
*I have more money then a camel can carry on his back to Mexico.
*And the other night with Spencer the only thing he says in his half-sleep state is "Dad, right now people in China are awake". And then he wandered off to bed.
He also has CLASSIC comments while driving. He reads the billboards, signs, or whatever he sees and says the funniest things, like "Moneytree--I didn't know there were moneytrees!!" Oh, how I wish my world could be as big as a 5 year olds.

Reece and Benson funnies

This morning during breakfast Benson was teasing Reece trying to get him to eat his cereal with milk in it (Benson knows Reece can't have it).
Reece said, "Ben-Ben, I can't have that until after the Resurrection. Because after the Resurrection I won't have any allergies and mommy won't be allergic to that one flower either".

My Mom took Reece to school this morning and Benson tagged along to get some one-on-one with Grandma. After Reece got out of the car Benson said, "my tummy says it's hungry and I need food. I need food now Blo. My tummy is hungry" (Benson was low and needed some sugar). Benson has had a lot of BG lows lately. They are becoming easier to detect. He usually starts crying and then he says he's tired and needs to go to bed. He becomes so lethargic that he just melts into your body and has the sweetest little cry. He's a very sweet boy.
