Mr. Entertainer
Yesterday after I gave the kids a bath I set them on the floor to dress them. I started with Reece so Benson was left naked in his towel for a short time. After I lathered Reece's skin with triamcinolone and Cetaphil (which he hates), I helped him get dressed. As Reece was running out of his room I looked up at Benson who was now standing butt naked in front of their bedroom window. Suddenly I hear a "pssssssss", Benson had a HUGE grin on his face and was enjoying the excitement/entertainment of PEEING on the wall. I wanted to go into hysterics but know from experience that will only make him do it again. So I covered my mouth and watched him finish. It was seriously the funniest, most HILARIOUS thing I have seen in a while. Don't worry, I cleaned it well with disinfectant!
He put these on by himself and walked around LAUGHING hysterically.
He thinks he's hilarious--sounds like my kid.

Best SNOWDAY ever!
Frosty the snowman!
SCARY STORY: COWS ALMOST KILLED US
(so I thought anyway)
Spencer and Benson were on the snowmobile pulling Reece and I on the sled when suddenly TWO HUGE COWS (Thomas & Henry are their names) started chasing us. They were only a couple feet from us and they were keeping up with the snowmobile. Naturally, I started freaking out telling Spencer to go faster and to get away from the cows. The cows kept getting closer and closer to us and I seriously thought they were going to charge Reece and I which would have been terrible. I started praying out loud in a very frightened voice and finally my Dad entered the field and they left us alone and went chasing him. I am grateful my prayer was answered. I still have nightmares about this. Those cows were HUGE and mighty and I felt small and helpless with my little child. We survived and all is well--except I refuse to enter that field if the cows are grazing in it.
This is us reenacting being frightened by the cows.

Christmas tree
We got a Christmas tree!
We haven't had a tree for three years so we were pretty
excited to take this beauty home with us!
The best part was that it only cost us $24.00! State/Glenwood
Dad helped the boys hang the ornaments while I took pictures and put the lights on.
Benson was HILARIOUS and put all his ornaments in one spot.
A couple days later I re-arranged the ornaments....
And this is what I found. Benson putting them back where they belonged.
This is a picture of him "kissing" his ornaments.
Happy Thanksgiving!
We hope you all enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend. We had our good friends Jackie and Marcus stay with us which was a real treat. We have missed them so much. Reece and Jackie were best friends in Seattle and haven't seen each other for 9 months. They were so dang cute together and picked up right where they left off.
This Thanksgiving was especially special because we were reminded how important families are and how blessed we are to be part of wonderful families and have such strong relationships with them. Spencer and I thank the Lord daily for the relationship we share and for the opportunity we have to be parents of two awesome boys. We also talk frequently about the blessings we have enjoyed from having great friends too!!
Here are some Thanksgiving day pictures:
