Benson's Baptism

Benson chose to be baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints.  It was such a beautiful day-- one I hope to never forget.  He was baptized on his 8th birthday with lots of friends and family around. One of my favorite memories was when he came out of the water-- he looked up at Spencer and had the most beautiful, sincere and the most HAPPIEST smile I have ever seen on him. He looked so handsome.  The entire program he was reverent and you could tell he felt special.  We are so proud of him for the choice he made and for the awesome kid he is becoming.
After the baptism we came to the house and had some food.  We then had an Easter Egg hunt in the backyard and then went to his choice of dinner--Chuck-a-rama.  As we were walking around the buffet he said he felt low and then suddenly couldn't walk straight. I quickly took him to the table and his blood sugar was super low. Luckily they had loads of sugar drinks around and so it helped him come up.
