August 8th-- my 30th Birthday!

I have the greatest friends ever and they totally spoiled me.  I was feeling a little anxious around my birthday because we had an important ultrasound with the baby that was going to tell us if the lump in her lung was growing or if it was going to stay the same size.  The ultrasound was 2 days before my birthday and everything turned out great.  The lump has stayed the same size and she is growing on target.  We feel very blessed--it was a wonderful birthday present! 

My friends and Spencer tried to surprise me with this awesome night out with no kids but Spencer couldn't pull off the surprise---I read right through him! I asked him if we were going out with a bunch of friends for my birthday and he got the cutest look on his face---he was BUSTED! So here is my awesome group of buddies--I LOVE them tons.

The boys wrote me this awesome note and gave me $40 for a pedicure! They were so sweet and wrapped it by themselves.  They were pretty excited to give it to me--I felt very loved.  It was the best present I received!

The boys get to go on a "Back to School" date with Mom every year before school begins.  We buy their school supplies, new shoes, and then they choose were they want to eat (which is usually an ice cream store!).  Both boys picked out awesome shoes and could hardly wait for the 1st day to wear them.  These are Benson's cool shoes...

Every afternoon after Tanner's nap we go outside and ride bikes and eat otter pops! It's rather awesome!

We spent our summer at the Rochester Athletic Club swimming! These are my besties--we spent almost everyday here! (Cassi, Ashley, Me, and Heidi).

The kids favorite part was the slide and the hot tub! Tanner's favorite part was the "inside pool".  He would do "cannonballs" into the water and I would catch him.  It was my favorite part because he was so happy and cute!
