Drew and Kacey Ableman moved to the Cities for an internship this summer with General Mills.  We met up with them for a day and the boys had a BLAST together.  Both Kacey and I were relieved to see that having three boys is all about running around and being crazy--- we both felt normal after being together! It was a welcome change. 

We got this awesome pass to an athletic club this summer that has a fun outdoor swimming pool and then what they call "the Neighborhood".  It was miniature golf, gaga ball, climbing gyms, trampolines, batting cages….the list goes on forever.  It's our boys more favorite place to be because they can run and climb all over the place and not get into trouble. We took the Ableman's here and it was a total success.  I'm not sure who had more fun--the little boys or Drew and Spencer.  They played dodgeball against the little boys and to be honest--I could totally imagine how they were when they were little.  They were running around being total goof-balls.  It was fun to watch. 

Spencer's Garden

Spencer get's giddy about his garden. These are pictures from mid July--the garden growing fast and looking good!

Spencer decided we needed 5 tomatoes plants this year so he could can his homemade salsa.  He absolutely LOVES this stuff.  It's usually the first thing he pulls out of the refrigerator when he gets home.

Tanner waits patiently for his Daddy to get home.  This is the scene I look at everyday.  I find it to be precious.  He also has a nerf gun in his hand which he carrier around most of the day.  He shoots all kinds of things but mostly will say, "to high" and then will find more bullets to play with.
