Happy Halloween

This year Halloween was a lot of fun. Reece was insistent on being a ninja and Benson was convinced by his Mother to be a fireman (last years costume). The pic above is from our wards trunk or treat. My sister Natalie came with us to make it extra fun. Our ward gave out delicious candy--when there were only chocolate options Reece would grab one and say, "this is for my Mom--she loves these". It was so precious! When we got home him and Benson went through their baskets and organized their candy. Reece was such an awesome sport and without me saying anything he went through his bucket and pulled all the candy with milk in them and put them in a separate bucket for me. He amazes me with his ability to handle his food allergies so well. I've never seen him get upset or feel sorry for himself when he can't have what everyone else is having. He's a sweet and mature little boy!

The ward trunk or treat was on the Friday before Halloween. We've never taken the boys "trick-or-treating" before and so when Halloween came we told them we were going to go trick-or-treating to the houses around our neighborhood. They were so excited. They had never heard of that idea before because we have always done it with our ward. We went up and down our street and I swear they all gave us mini size candy bars--that means I inherited ALOT of delicious candy! After each door the boys would run away saying, "Thank you...Happy Halloween....and I'm a Ninja....and I'm a fireman". It was SOOOOOO cute and so fun watching them. They enjoyed giving out candy just as much as they did trick-or-treating.

As you can see with his ninja costume--I wasn't very creative with our costumes. We'll blame it on the prego belly--but really it's because I'm not very creative and coming up with cool costumes is stressful.

The kid is a little cheese ball...
We went to Linder Farms with Spencer's sister Natalie and her family.
The kids had a great time playing together. It's a fun place
to go as a family before Halloween.
The tires were a huge hit. I think we need to add some to our backyard. They'd make a perfect toy for little boys.
Kiddos getting ready for the tractor ride to the pumpkin patch.

Sweet pic of Haylie and Kylie!

Hope you all had a wonderful Halloween~!

Wow, I can sure relate to you as far as sorting Halloween candy goes! And every other holiday candy, now that I think about it...

My allergy kid impresses me, too, with her attitude.
