The boys are obsessed with Ninjago. It's all we talk about in our home. They've turned our office into their Ninjago club. They had me take pictures of their ninjagos so they could hang them up in their room. I thought it needed to be posted on the blog. Sometimes I feel like our conversations in our home are centered around these lego creatures.
My mom found this sticker book at the airport. It was 1000 Ninjago stickers. You can just imagine how excited the kids were to recieve this!!

Tanner turns 1!
The boys helped me decorate the cupcakes for Tanenr's little shin-dig!
Thank you boys for an awesome family picture. I swear I only made them sit there for 10 seconds.
They look like they are being tortured.
He cried through his birthday song and then somewhat settled down for cake. He won't put anything in his mouth, including toys and food, and so we fed him and he actually ATE SOME CAKE!! We were so excited. We consider it a good day if he eats half a jar of baby food--so eating cake was huge. After a couple bites he decided it looked better on the floor then on his tray. If you can't eat it, you might as well play with it! Anyway, we had a great party. My mom was in town visiting which was super fun. He got a little walker toy which he loves to push around and walk with. We were pretty excited to see him walking around. We had our friends the Thurstons, Hulls, and Ormes over to celebrate with us. It was a fun night and it seemed like Tanner enjoyed it! He is such a great little kid. We are so blessed to have him in our family.

My mom turned 50!
Can you believe my Mom turned 50!! She is so young and totally awesome. One of her presents was a ticket to come see three of her grandsons! She'll be here in a couple days and we are so super excited!!
Growing boys!
Tanner is growing up so fast. He is almost one and is gaining a darling personality. He is crazy fast going up the stairs, loves the shower, still doesn't like food very much, is sleeping better, and LOVES to play the piano. He spends a good time each day playing. It's darling.
The boys are heavy into legos. They love ninjagos and build all kinds of fun stuff. I caught all three of them playing together. I snuck a picture without them seeing me!
Reece and Benson are such great little boys. I tell them all the time how lucky I am to be their mother. Reece came home on election day and told me that him and his two buddies formed "Team Romney" at lunch. They went around asking people who they were voting for. They also informed people that Obama doesn't know anything about money and that he just wants to take all our money. Apparently the three little boys have been listening to many conversations about the elections. We congratulate Obama on his re-election but have been grieving Romney's loss. I was one of Romney's biggest fans and felt like he would have been an excellent president. But good thing I have Benson home with me all day because he whispers the kindest things to me all day which always lifts my spirits. Some of todays sayings were, "mom, you are so cool. You are so pretty. I love you because you are so cool". Thanks Benson for making me feel better! :)
We LOVE our Daddy!
We have the best Daddy! He is working so hard in the ICU. He comes home exhausted but still gives us plenty of family time. He helps around the house, plays (or wrestles) with the boys, gives me so much respect and love, and is just all you could ask for in a Daddy or Husband. We love him so much!
Grandma Miller visits Rochester, MN!
Grandma Miller came to visit us for a week. We had a great time showing her around the city, our home, and the midwest. We found a delicious hole-in-the-wall Mexican restaurant, took her on our weekly Panera break date (It's to expensive to pay for a babysitter and then a date, so we drop the kiddos off at school and go for a breakfast date for delicious bagels and then run errands! It's so fun), introduced STAR WARS to my and the boys, and ended our trip at the Mall of America. Thanks for the fun visit!

Annual Miler Halloween party
We had some of our good friends over for a halloween party. We pretty much do the same thing every year. We make oreo spiders, ghosts, watch Charlie Browns "The great Pumpkin" and this year we added something new! We did a mummy wrap which was a total success. The kids had a great time and we are so grateful to have awesome friends to play with!

Trick-or-treat! Ninjago style
For Halloween this year the boys wanted to be Ninjago's. The boys are lucky to have a good friend, Adam, who turns the duo into a perfect trio. They have great chemistry together and are best buddies (I am so grateful Benson isn't the younger brother that tags along--all three are equal). So Cassi and I decided to make their halloween outfits (actually, she came up with the idea and I tagged along). Adam is the green ninjago, Reece is Jay, and Benson is Kai. Their heads were massive and terribly uncomfortable so they ditched them for trick or treating. Atleast I got one picture with them on!
For the actual trick or treating we went with our neighbors Sarah and Ethan. Spencer was working (he's in his ICU rotation which is super busy). The street behind us was packed with kids on both sides. People had portable fires, games, huge halloween decorations--it was the place to be. Benson thought he was hilarious and would run up to the door singing Spencer's favorite halloween song, "Have you seen the ghost of Tom" and then would start laughing so hard! It was darling. It was a successful night. The boys had a blast, the weather was good to us and was warm (40's with no wind), and we were in good company.
This is Reece's scary face. He tells me that he practices it in the mirror and sometimes it's so scary that it scares himself.

Fun Family pictures
My friend and I decided we didn't have enough money for professional family pictures, so we did a picture swap. She took ours, and I will soon take hers. I spent an hour before our pictures telling the boys how important family pictures are to me hoping that they would be decent during pictures. To my surprise, they were pretty good. Our only problem is getting all FOUR boys to look at the camera and smile at the same time--now that is a serious challenge. Here are our best shots.
Tender!
