Sarah, Juliann, Stacey, and Johanna
We had to celebrate Spencer finishing fellowship. We went to a very fancy restaurant called "La Caille. It was delicious and beautiful. Spencer deserved much more than a fancy restaurant, he worked hard and excelled at everything he did during his 14 years of school and training. I guess his grand prize is the dream job at St. Lukes in Boise!! Good work Babe!
LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL!!!
Benson did a presentation on the water cycle and was able to showcase it to my Mom and I. He's a great student and everyone in his classroom loves him!Kate decided to surprise us all with a week long stay leading up to our move to Boise. She had been sick all weekend, but her oxygen stayed above 90% so we kept her home. Sunday morning, we woke up at 5:30am and checked her oxygen and it was in the low 80's. I took her to Primaries and she was admitted. She was doing great all day and was only on 2 liters of oxygen. I remember telling everyone "this is no problem, we will be out in 2 days". That night she took a dive for the worst and ended up on 15 liters of oxygen and was admitted to the PICU. I texted Spencer early Monday morning and said, "I can't talk or I'll cry, but Kate is being admitted to the PICU". Spencer called my Mom and told her what I said, and within minutes my Mom was in the car driving to Sandy to help us. She was teaching swim lessons and had a busy week, but somehow was able to find people to help her and ended up spending the entire week with us. I honestly don't know what we would have done without her help. It took 3 of us adults taking care of my kids and the move. We had one adult at the hospital, one with the kids (they had tons of activities and school events), and one at the house getting things ready for the movers to come. Not only that, but we also closed on both of our houses, had a piano recital, and by some miracle we were able to pick Kate up from the hospital as we were pulling out of town to Boise. This is the first time we had a moving company move us, and it was a huge blessing! I should also note, that one of my Mom's best character traits is she will always drop whatever is going on and help someone when they are in a crisis. I've seen her do it dozens of times. She's really good at knowing whats most important and making it all work out. We are so grateful she came and saved us!
The boys really missed their sister. They drew all over her window to try and make her happy!
LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!
My Mom was super nice and took Benson and Tanner to a BEE's Baseball game (Reece was at Maxs house). They were pretty stressed with Kate in the hospital and the big move coming up. They had a lot of fun at the game, one of the places signed a ball and gave it to Tanner. My Mom spoiled them with food and baseball bats!
Reece had a "campout" at Max's house as a farewell to 6th grade. They ate tons of junk food
and stayed up late talking and playing games.
