Every year we make a trip to Boise to visit family and friends.  This year was cut a little short due to our big move, but we were still able to fit most traditions into our schedule.  This was our bucket list:
Waterski-twice (unsuccessful because the boat wasn't working)
Country donuts with Grandma, Mom, Heather, and the sisters
Table Rock with cousins
Diabetes swim party
Dunkley Cousin swim party
Discovery Center
Ju's high school friend party
Bon Fire
Swim Swim Swim
4-wheeling to Maverick to buy slurpees

Baskin Robbins with Grandma Miller
Sell snow shack
Red Robin with Grandma Blo
Idaho Pizza company with Grandpa Miller
Movie (Inside out with Grandma Miller and Minions with Grandma blo)

Fun memories.  Our summer wouldn't be complete with our trip to Boise. We are so blessed to have such a fun and awesome Family who love us and we love them! It's a magical place staying at Grandma blows house-- lots of people, activity, and things to do.

4th of July

4th of July
Nicole and Jason were married in the Salt Lake City Temple on July 3rd.  A week before we moved into our new home in Sandy and so it made for a crazy and fun 4th of July! Jamie and Kristi stayed with us with their families for the weekend for some fun family time.  We started Saturday morning with a parade in South Jordan.  I sobbed through the first 10 minutes while they sang the national anthem and had the guards carry the flag.  Reece thought I was weird for crying so hard.  I explained to him and Benson how fortunate we are to live in the USA and how blessed we are to have the freedoms we enjoy.  I hope they realize how blessed and special our country is.

After the parade we came home and the kids played with flashlights in the basement while the guys got a genius idea to put a ceiling fan in our living room.  It was supposed to be a 10 minute job-- but it ended up taking 3 hours!! Thanks to Matt and all his hard work we now enjoy a much cooler living room!! The kids ended up playing outside on the tramp with a sprinkler under it. Then we had a BBQ and played for a bit while we waited for the sun to go down.

Reece and Spencer were the pyro's in charge of the fireworks.  Reece told Spencer that there were 3 awesome days during the year: Christmas, his birthday, and the 4th of July!  We parked our chairs in the middle of the street and enjoyed a sweet firework show by some neighbors while lighting our own little.  It was a magical night with the family!
